hello friends, a quick one today.
back in february, i made a little zine of drawings that i’ve posted to mood ring so far. i made it with materials i had at home (and a quick run to the copy shop).
i cut a lino-block for a variation of the snail girl drawing, used my prixel press for the title, and the remaining kraft paper i had for the cover. i tried a couple different colour-ways when stamping the covers, some are better than others. and the guts are printed black & white on white bond paper. i ended up with about 35 copies.
there is something soothing to me about cutting, folding, collating a zine by-hand.
the zine is so small and inexpensive that i’ll only be selling in-person. but good news, you can see it for yourself on august 17th at zine dream.
if you like this newsletter, i hope you’ll consider picking up a zine (or print or sticker). this thing is free, and will probably remain that way as long as i'm hustling physical media.
